About the event

This drama is focused on the very early and turbulent part of Churchill's wartime tenure as the Prime Minister of Great Britain during the time when the country was deeply divided on what was the right approach to Nazi Germany. Should the already negotiated peace treaty with Germany go forward, or should the country stand firm and face an imminent invasion by Germna forces? While we all know the outcome of this period, the film provides a stunning portrayal of pressures of genuine leadership during this troubled time in history. Join us for a lovely evening among friends and be served up some scrumptious treats. Movie night is free to attend: however, we gratefully accept donations of non-perishable items for the Debra Dynes Emergency Food Bank.
